In these ‘General Terms and Conditions’ the following expressions have the following meanings:
“We/Us/Our” means Quarion Ltd the owners of the Website
“Website” means localshopsdelivering.co.uk
“Shop” means any business premises that is providing a delivery service of the goods that they supply to the public (Examples include Takeaways, General Stores, Restaurants, Cake/Coffee shops etc).
Our Website is provided to enable you to easily find a local shop that is providing a delivery service in the area of the UK that you select/specify as closest to your home (or the address at which you want to receive the goods).
We achieve this by providing search facilities to display details of Shops providing a delivery service and links to their website and particularly their menu/price list.
Many will allow for delivery and / or collection and many will allow for ‘pre-booking’ of a delivery/collection time slot. Others will just estimate the time delay between order confirmation and delivery/collection.
We try to ensure all the information on our Website is accurate and up to date but we cannot guarantee that errors will not occur.
When you place an order from one of the Shops linked to from our Website then you are forming a contract with that Shop directly and will pay that shop directly through whichever payment processor that Shop utilises (Normally Paypal or Credit or Debit Card). We have no control over the processing of your order or your payment or your delivery and cannot guarantee that the Shop will provide adequate goods and/or services.
If you have a problem with any Shop then please take up your complaint with them directly. We would, however, like to hear from you about the problem so that we can remove them from our list of suppliers if they do not rectify the issue in a timely and satisfactory manner.
If the order received does not meet your expectation you can provide feedback to the business via the feedback page on the respective business’ website or their mobile application. Feedback submitted will be reviewed and displayed on the respective business’ page, subject to Customer Support team’s discretion.
We shall have the right in its absolute discretion at any time and without notice to amend, remove or vary the Services and/or any page of this Website/Application.
If any of the provisions of these Terms and Conditions are found to be unlawful, invalid or otherwise unenforceable by any court or other authority, that/those provision(s) will be deemed severed from the remainder of these Terms and Conditions and the remainder will be valid and enforceable.
If you breach these conditions and we take no action, we will still be entitled to use our rights and remedies in any other situation where you breach these conditions.
Law and Jurisdiction
These Terms and Conditions, and the relationship between you and us (whether contractual or otherwise) shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England & Wales.
Any dispute, controversy, proceedings or claim between you and us relating to these Terms and Conditions, or the relationship between you and us (whether contractual or otherwise) shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of England, Wales, Scotland, or Northern Ireland, as determined by your residency.
